Exercise One: Review the Following Concepts


* The Brain is divided into two sections the Left Sphere (LS) & Right Sphere (RS)

* LS controls logic, reasoning & mathematical abitity

* RS controls imagination &  fanatasy faculties

* There are two kinds of Memory: Long Term Memory (LTM)  & Short Term Memory (STM)

* LTM  involves data already stored in the mind

* STM involves new data taken into the mind via the senses

* Our educational & cultural systems surpress RS thinking & encourage LS thought

* MemoryCog teaches how to use both logic & imagination to store & retrieve mental data more effectively

* MemoryCog  uses LTM to form mind files (Pegs) in which to store mental data

* MemoryCog stores new information on these preset memory peg files by using Vivid Verification (VV)

* V V involves using extreme and absurd imaginative action to store new data on the LTM Peg files


Exercise Two:  Review the Car File

* Picture in your mind a black car with black interior

* Remember from the audio lesson that the four seats & the trunk are preset files in which to store new date

* Use the Car File + V V to memorize the following lists (read outload):

1) cat
2) towel
3) ice cream
4) camera
5) cookies
